TImipre Sylva who is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa state was conferred with a chieftaincy title in In Igboland.
The former governor of Bayelsa and the APC leader in the state was in a ceremony conferred with the title of “Ikemba-1” of Enugu – Ukwu and Umunri, in Anambra State.
The ceremony took place on Saturday, January 7 amidst dancing and funfair.
The title which translates to Strength of a City was “in recognition of his selfless political contribution(s) to the success of the Buhari’s Government” according to a statement on APC News TV.
